Tri-Town News On Campus, Nov. 7

Michael Dworzak of Howell is one of 32 Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa., science and business students who collaborated in the production and marketing of the 2018 Flying Dutchmen Ale. The science students worked with Snitz Creek Brewery to create a recipe and brew the traditional ale that was revealed and served at Homecoming 2018. Business students then sold the ale to area businesses as a seasonal offering. Dworzak, a graduate of Howell High School, is working toward a bachelor of science in chemistry in ACS chemistry.

The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Ala., Capstone Agency has been awarded Best Campaign, Best Tactic and Best Student-Run Firm in the 2018 Public Relations Student Society of America Student-Run Firm Awards. Among the students involved in the Capstone Agency is Matthew George of Jackson. These awards celebrate outstanding campaigns and tactics used by PRSSA’s nationally affiliated, student-run firms across the country.

Kevin M. Kiernan of Jackson has received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Boston University, Boston, Mass.
