Alexander, Faber retain seats on Upper Freehold governing body

UPPER FREEHOLD – Incumbent Republicans Stephen Alexander and Robert Faber have won new three-year terms on the Township Committee in Upper Freehold Township. The terms will run from January 2019 through December 2021.

Alexander and Faber ran unopposed in the Nov. 6 election. Faber received 2,338 votes and Alexander received 2,331 votes, according to results posted online by the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office. The results are unofficial until they are certified by the county.

Republicans will continue to hold all five seats on the governing body. Alexander and Faber are joined on the Township Committee by Dr. Robert Frascella, Stanley Moslowski Jr. and LoriSue H. Mount.

Alexander, who is serving as mayor in 2018, is an attorney and has been a member of the committee since 2004. Faber is a farmer and has been a member of the governing body since 2007.
