North Brunswick honors Gifted and Talented student with township award

NORTH BRUNSWICK – Shivam Nangia has been selected as the Scholar/Athlete/Artist award recipient for November by the North Brunswick Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services (DPRCS).

Shivam is a sophomore at North Brunswick Township High School (NBTHS), where he is on the High Honor Roll with a GPA of 4.1.

He is a member of the TV Production Club and the German Club, is on the junior varsity tennis team, and is a peer tutor. He was awarded academic excellence and a learning center award in the ninth grade. He is in the Heroes Academy for the Gifted and Talented Program and also participates in the Future Business Leaders of America.

Shivam has been a volunteer for the Red Cross, Oxfam Charity Shop and the Greenwich Library. He was the videographer at the Judd Elementary music concerts, at the THEATERWEEK Golden Goose and at the UFC Gym.

He worked with children with special needs in the Adaptive Aquatics Swim Program through the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services, and was the videographer for the 2018 Veterans Memorial Day slideshow.
