U.S. Marine visits former high school in North Brunswick

Private Kelson Hopson of the U.S. Marines, a 2018 North Brunswick Township High School graduate, recently graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and is currently training in North Carolina before heading to Virginia to continue training at Military Occupational Specialty School. Hopson recently stopped by his former school on his 10-day leave and spoke to Donald Smutko’s U.S. Military class on his experiences of going through bootcamp. Hopson is the son of Dennis and Corrie Hopson and the sister of Sydnee Hopson of North Brunswick. Also pictured is Gunnery Sgt. Wilson.
