Sayreville seniors celebrate their birthdays with the mayor

Sayreville Mayor Kennedy O’Brien’s quarterly birthday breakfast for seniors was held on Nov. 15. Those who have birthdays during each quarter are invited to a birthday breakfast, and the oldest and youngest get to make a wish and blow out the candles. The most recent celebrants ranged in age from 62 to 96. Packets of candy favors were handed out by John Mooney on behalf of the Riverton Project.
