Dr. Elisa Velazquez, owner of Ocean Pediatric Dental Associates in Toms River and Manahawkin, was one of the final 635 dentists chosen as a Top Dentist according to her peers.
Velazquez also was chosen to be a member of the Professional Advisory Board that includes only 20 dentists in the state.
She provides comprehensive preventive, restorative and orthodontic treatment for all children, including dentistry for special needs children in her practice.
She created DOPAC (Dental Orientation for Parents and Autistic Children), a free program that meets once a month to teach children with autism and their parents dental hygiene skills.
Velazquez is on staff at Community Medical Center and currently serves as president of the N.J. Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
