As a senior center back and lead striker on offensive corners, Radvany was second in team scoring with 10 goals and led the team and county in assists with 15, for a total of 35 points.

Team captain and winner of the 2018 PDS Field Hockey MVP award, Radvany was instrumental in leading her team to the Mercer County and Prep B NJISAA state championship finals, where PDS feel short.

She led the team and the county in assists as a junior with 15 and with 18 as a sophomore, and led the team in goals as a freshman with three.

PDS Varsity Field Hockey Coach Heather Farlow has high praise for Radvany, stating: “Val has been a vital component of our success and is one of the most decorated PDS field hockey athletes in recent history. She never shied away from an opponent and made big plays in big games. It’s been an absolute honor working with Val during her high school career and I wish Val continued success.”

Among her honors during her career were: Central Jersey Field Hockey Coaches Association first team selection in 2018, 2017 and 2016, as well as a second team selection in 2015.

She was an NJISAA Prep B All State Team selection in 2018, 2017,2016 and 2015, as well as earning the PDS Varsity Field Hockey MVP in 2018, PDS Varsity Field Hockey Coaches Award in 2017 and 2016, and PDS Varsity Field Hockey Rookie of the Year in 2015

Radvany, a Lawrenceville resident who also played for the Princeton Field Hockey Club team since 2013, helped lead the U-19 Club Team to regional club championships in 2017 and 2018.

Director of Upper School Athletics Tim Williams also praised Radvany, saying: “Val has been a backbone for our field hockey team for the last four years and has fueled our resurgence as a program. I’m happy for her to go to Michigan State to play field hockey. She will be sorely missed here.”
