South Amboy PBA Local 63 held its second annual Line of Duty Memorial Christmas Tree Lighting on Dec. 6, commemorating all law enforcement officer and K9 line of duty deaths for 2018. Each ornament is a handmade plastic tile with the officer’s name, photo, agency and end of watch date embossed on it. The tree is located at the intersection of Main and David streets. At the end of the season, each ornament will be sent to the families or respective agencies to show that their loved ones were not forgotten.
