Build residential development near Heavenly Farms in East Brunswick

Ah yes, snuggled serenely among the salvage yards and industrial warehouse complexes sits the proposed Hidden Oak Woods planned residential development – 275 residential units that will in all probability add at least 500 more cars daily to the Harts/Tices lanes intersection.

Traffic isn’t bad enough there already at morning and afternoon rush hours. The Lawrence Brook Village development already gets pounded daily with traffic on University Road and Sullivan Way taking a shortcut to Ryders Lane avoiding the traffic light at Tices/Ryders lanes. Perhaps adding 500-600 more children to the public school system at $13,000 per pupil tax rate should also be considered.

This area was supposed to be Tices Lane Park, containing environmentally sensitive wetlands areas. The last thing this area needs is residential development. Build this development at the Heavenly Farms area. Acres of unused space there, and no wetlands.
