Stinemire concludes service on council

ALLENTOWN – Mayor Greg Westfall and Allentown Borough Council members recognized Johnna Stinemire as she participated in her final meeting as a member of the governing body on Dec. 11.

Stinemire was elected as a councilwoman in November 2015 and served from Jan. 1, 2016 through Dec. 31.

During her term, Stinemire served as the chairwoman of the Police, Fire and First Aid
Standing Committee for two years; and she served as a member of the Code Enforcement, Public Health, Welfare, and Public Events Standing Committee; the Public Property and Public Works Standing Committee; the Legislation, Insurance, Licensing and Communications Standing Committee; the Communications and Personnel Standing Committee; the Public Property, Public Works, and Parks and Recreation Standing Committee; and the Finance and Administration Standing Committee.

Stinemire served as the council’s liaison to the Allentown Public Library; the Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug Abuse; the Upper Freehold Regional School District Board of Education; the Environmental Commission; fire and first aid squads; and the Upper Freehold Fire Services.

In a resolution, Westfall and the council members said they “express their sincere appreciation to Councilwoman Johnna Stinemire for her public service to Allentown.”
