Here is an update on the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams at Bordentown Regional High School.
The boys’ basketball team for Bordentown lost to Solebury School from New Hope, Pa., 74-46, on Dec. 27 at Bordentown.
In the defeat, Gavin Shiver was the top scorer for Bordentown with 18 points. Christian Burnett and Jordan Martin pitched in for Bordetnwon with a combined 12 points.
The Scotties, who played Delran High School on Jan .3, will square off with rival Florence Township Memorial High School in Florence on Jan. 5.
The Bordentown girls lost to Manalapan High School, 58-35, on Dec. 26 at Manalapan.
Ciara Conover led the Scotties with nine points while he teammate, Sofia Peterson, came through with eight points in the loss.
Bordentown, which played Delran at home on Jan. 4, will continue their home stand against neighboring Florence on Jan. 5.
