SOUTH RIVER – Due to a traffic study taking place, vehicles are permitted to make either a left or right turn onto Johnson Place from Montgomery Street in South River at all times. This change is being implemented immediately.
Previously, vehicles were not permitted to make a left turn onto Johnson Place during school start and dismissal times. This change is being implemented on a trial basis while its effects are evaluated. In the near future, it will be determined if this becomes a permanent change, according to information provided by the South River Police Department.
