East Brunswick Jewish Center to show film that depicts Cuban Jewish life after escape from the Nazis

“Cuba’s Forgotten Jewels,” a film depicting a family’s escape from the Nazis and fortunate immigration to Havana, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 31 at the East Brunswick Jewish Center (EBJC), 511 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick.
The family’s story is filled with a musical score of Jewish melodies and music of Havana which merges the realities of intermingled cultures.
The evening will include a discussion of current Cuban Jewish life.
Desserts will be sponsored by EBJC’s Mens Club and Sisterhood. Dairy refreshments will be served.
Cost is $5 per person.
