The money was collected by the veterans at the Rose of Sharon (poppy) drives. The money was used for holiday gift bags.

The group meets at 10 a.m. the second Tuesday of every month at the Monroe Township Municipal Building, 1 Municipal Plaza, Monroe. No meetings will take place January through April.

Yearly membership is $25 to the Korean War Veterans Association and $10 to the chapter.

The chapter is involved in various functions during the year, including parades with a Color Guard, flag raising and funerals.
