Northfield Bancorp appoints director

Paul V. Stahlin

Northfield Bancorp, Inc. announced that its Board of Directors appointed Paul V. Stahlin, CPA, CGMA, as a director of both the company and Northfield Bank.

Stahlin currently serves on the board of Miami International Holdings, Inc., the parent company of MIAX Options Exchange. He also serves as vice chairman of the Board of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, and is on the board of RWJ Barnabas Health, Inc. 

Stahlin previously served as the regional president of Fulton Bank of New Jersey, president of Skylands Community Bank, and president and CEO of Somerset Valley Bank. He also has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Fleet Credit Card Services and as chairman of the Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Northfield Bank, founded in 1887, operates 40 full-service banking offices in Staten Island and Brooklyn, New York; and Hunterdon, Middlesex, Mercer and Union counties, New Jersey. The bank is headquartered in Woodbridge.
