Lineberry, an English professor at Brookdale Community College, will speak about the exhibit that contains several of her colorful abstractions at a reception in the CVA Gallery at 6 p.m. on Jan. 31.

Original 3D works from sculptors Lisa Naples of Doylestown, Pennsylvania and Judi Tavill, Rumson, add additional perspectives to Artistic Journeys. Naples will discuss the evolution of her works at 6:30 p.m., following Lineberry’s talk.

The theme of Artistic Journeys includes early and recent works from each artist, enabling visitors to examine the progression, inspiration and focus of each artist through the years.

“Visitors and students will have an opportunity to see how each artist’s style has evolved and changed over the years by comparing works from different periods,” said Professor Marie Maber, curator of the CVA Gallery.

The CVA Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, contact Professor Marie Maber at mmaber@brookdalecc.edu,  or Phyllis Nicholson at 732-224-2014.
