Dayton Village Citizens Coalition to hold gardening workshop/seed exchange on Feb. 3

The Dayton Village Citizens Coalition (DVCC) will hold its annual Gardening Workshop and Seed and Catalogue Exchange on Feb 3. at the South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

The workshop will begin at 1:15 p.m. with a welcome from Bob Tucker, president of the DVCC. At 1:30 p.m., Caren White, Master Gardener and manager of the international herb garden in Lambertville, will speak on growing, harvesting and preserving herbs. Afterward, there will be a question-and answer-session and sharing of best practices in the garden. The workshop ends at 3:30 p.m. with door prizes.

The program is free and open to the whole family. Bring a non-perishable food item for the South Brunswick Food Pantry. Consider bringing a clean plant container, catalogue, seeds, plants, gardening tools to share or exchange.
