Mobile ice cream catering company solves any ‘Ice Cream Emergency’

The Middlesex County Office of Aging and Disabled Services held its Birthday Bashes for the residents who celebrated their 90th brithday or older on May 25. The South Brunswick Senior Center luncheon provided residents from multiple centers in the area of a fun time of dancing, food and beverages, and an ice cream party.

Ice Cream Emergency, a mobile ice cream catering company, will station its newest Ice Cream Emergency Bus in Monmouth and Middlesex counties through the efforts of Sue Dorfman of Howell.

Ice Cream Emergency is a full service, mobile, ice cream parlor disguised as a whimsical rescue vehicle that comes to events to “save” guests from an ice cream emergency. Guests board the climate-controlled bus and are served gourmet ice cream and toppings.

The bus is expected to begin “Saving Lives One Scoop at a Time” in March.

The company was founded in 2014 by Tony and Debra Arrato of Seymour, Connecticut. They began franchising their concept in 2016.
