The Old Bridge Public Library is holding a four-part film series in honor of Black History Month.
“Freedom Riders” was shown on Feb. 10. “W.E.B. Du Bois: A Biography in Four Voices” was shown on Feb. 12.
“The March” will be shown at 7 p.m. on Feb. 21. The film centers around the story of the making of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, as told by the people who organized and participated in it.
“Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise” will be shown at 11 a.m. on Feb 26. Dr. Maya Angelou (1928-2014) is best known for her autobiography “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.”
The library is located at 1 Old Bridge Plaza, intersection of Cottrell Road and Route 516, Old Bridge.
