Cheers and Jeers

Cheers to I’m Sorry
for being an unrepentant riot. From ill-fated kids’ parties to inappropriate grandparents to cheap friends, Andrea Savage’s no-jokes-barred look at life as a comedy writer, wife and mom has upped the OMG factor on Season 2 of the truTV hit. It’s as glorious as the sight of babyface Tom Everett Scott (pictured, with Savage) playing along as her endlessly forgiving husband.

Cheers to Project Blue Book
for getting the truth out there. Smart, stylish and probing (in a good way!), History’s scripted period piece starring Aidan Gillen and Michael Malarkey is a freaky, fact-based look at the government’s hunt for UFOs that plays like The X-Files: The Early Years without all the sexual tension.

Jeers to The Bachelor Ladies

for turning Colton Underwood (center) into a virgin sacrifice. So the guy hasn’t officially cashed in his V-card. Big whoop. The hunky lug is more than just nookie rookie, yet all the women gunning for him on the ABC dating show are obsessed with that one dirty detail. Know what’s not sexy, girls? Acting like guys.

Jeers to Celebrity Big Brother

for showing Jonathan Bennett the door. As one of the only likable houseguests in this roster, the Mean Girls alum and ebullient Food Network host deserved far more time to play the game over his much-less fetch roomies. And yes, we’re talking about you, cool-mom Dina Lohan.
