The Valentine's Day party at the South Brunswick Senior Center on Feb. 14 took an unexpected turn. As the live band stopped playing, Charles Gunther of Kendall Park got down on bended knee and proposed to his girlfriend of 10 years, Dorothy Pohlman, also from Kendall Park. The answer was a resounding "Yes!" There were happy tears as they danced their first dance as an engaged couple.
