The Manalapan Police Department reported the following incidents occurring in the township:
• On Feb. 10 at 8:35 a.m., a Howell resident told police that at about 8 a.m., an unknown man and woman removed 13 gold coins valued at $4,683 from his stand at the Englishtown Auction Sales, Wilson Avenue.
• On Feb. 17 at 8:04 a.m., a Manalapan resident reported an incident of criminal mischief.
The resident’s vehicle was parked in a driveway on Longbow Drive when sometime between 8:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and 8:04 a.m. Feb. 17, an unknown individual broke the vehicle’s windshield.
• On Feb. 17 at 9:50 a.m., a Manalapan resident reported an incident of criminal mischief.
The resident’s vehicle was parked on Knox Lane when sometime between 4:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 17, an unknown individual threw a rock at the vehicle’s
windshield, causing the windshield to break.
• On Feb. 17 at 10:40 p.m., officers responded to Country Lane and met with an East Brunswick resident. The man said his vehicle was parked on the street between 6 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. when an unknown individual threw two rocks through the rear window, causing the rear window and front windshield to break.
• On Feb. 15 at 10:17 p.m., officers responded to Route 9 to investigate a report of an unconscious woman in a vehicle. An investigation determined a 48-year-old female resident of Jackson was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. The woman was arrested, transported to police headquarters, processed and released.
• On Feb. 4, a Manalapan resident told police an unknown individual made
fraudulent debits totaling $596 against the resident’s business bank account.
• On Feb. 7, a Manalapan resident told police an unknown individual had fraudulently withdrawn $1,800 from the resident’s bank account.
• On Feb. 15, an employee of Wegmans, Route 9, told police an unknown individual used stolen credit card information to make multiple fraudulent purchases at the store between Dec. 24 and Jan. 13. The purchases totaled $1,151.
• On Feb. 17, a Manalapan resident told police an unknown individual made fraudulent charges on her Macy’s credit card. The charges totaled $3,534.
