James Sousa, president of Weichert Commercial Brokerage Inc., announced that the company was recently ranked among the top companies in New Jersey by NJBIZ readers. The NJBIZ 2018 Reader Rankings included more than 50 categories across the business landscape and Weichert Commercial Brokerage placed No. 3 for the second consecutive year in the <0x201C>Best Commercial Real Estate Brokerage<0x201D> category. In 2018, Weichert Commercial listed more than 2.1 million square feet of property and closed more than $135 million in aggregate sales and leasing transactions.

 

Barbara Berg, manager of Weichert, Realtors’ Marlboro office, announced that Jill Lauren Quaranta is the newest member of her sales team. Quaranta has been a licensed real estate professional for 18 months. Quaranta joins Weichert with a background in recruitment and experience in marketing. She resides in Freehold.

 

CentraState Healthcare System, Freehold Township, announced that Dr. Moustafa Shafey, medical director of psychiatric services at CentraState Medical Center, has been awarded Distinguished Life Fellowship designation by the American Psychiatric Association. Distinguished Fellowship is awarded to psychiatrists who have made significant contributions to the psychiatric profession in several areas. Shafey has been on the staff of CentraState and medical director of psychiatric services since 1992. He will be honored at the American Psychiatric Association<0x2019>s annual meeting in San Francisco in May.

 

CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, announced that urogynocologist Dr. Martin P. Michalewski has been named the new medical director of the Urogynecology and Pelvic Medicine Program. Michalewski helped pioneer several urogynecologic laparoscopic procedures that have improved the quality of life for many women who experienced urinary incontinence, cystocele, rectocele, uterine/vaginal prolapse, pelvic pain, bleeding, fibroids and other gynecological conditions.

 

Freehold letter carriers Rick Raimondo, George Bosko, Jeffrey Harness, Bruce Stallworth, Richard Minneci, Robert Beachley and Donna LaMirande have joined the thousands of United States Postal Service employees who have individually driven more than one million accident-free miles. The letter carriers were recognized during a ceremony on Feb. 14 at the Freehold Post Office, Village Center Drive, Freehold Township.

 

Bonefish Grill, in the Epicentre, Route 9, Manalapan, recently celebrated its five-year anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by Manalapan Mayor Susan Cohen and Managing Partner Darryl Brophy. Also in attendance were Bonefish Grill’s JVP, Evan Snyderman; restaurant manager, Adam Riepl; group and event dining coordinator, Barbara Burns; Deputy Mayor Jack McNaboe; members of the Manalapan Business Association; and several of Bonefish Grill’s five-year anglers. Brophy and his team held a food sampling event to kick off Bonefish Grill’s new Saturday/Sunday brunch menu.
