Rutgers History professor to discuss book on desegregating America’s schools

Dr. Rachel Devlin, an associate professor of History at Rutgers University, will discuss her new book “A Girl Stands at the Door – the Generation of Young Women who Desegregated America’s Schools” at 7 p.m. on March 5 at the Global Village on Douglass College Campus,
WLRU offers scholarships to Rutgers-New Brunswick students. Admission proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund.
The cost is $20 for non-students or $5 for students. Make checks payable to WLRU and send to 5 Gloucester Ct., East Brunswick 08816.
