Metro Diner to support charities upon grand opening

New Jersey’s first Metro Diner will open on March 12 at 269 Route 18, East Brunswick.

The community is invited to celebrate by reserving a spot during special pre-opening charity events from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or from 4-7:30 p.m. on March 10 and 11. All donations on March 10 will benefit Elks Camp Moore, a camp that offers a vacation away from home for children with special needs.

On March 10, all donations will benefit Rebuilding Warriors, Saving Warriors One Dog at a Time, whose mission is to provide highly trained and socialized service/companion dogs to veterans diagnosed as amputees as well as those with post traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. Make a reservation by calling 856-315-0949.

The diner will feature indoor seating for 130 guests and will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.

Metro Diner is hiring more than 100 area residents. Applications are being accepted for all positions including servers, hosts, cooks and kitchen staff. To apply, visit MetroDiner.com/employment.
