Weichert Real Estate Affiliates Inc. was ranked No. 131 on this year’s list, an annual ranking of the 150 fastest growing franchises. Advanced Wellness of Marlboro recently partnered with the Marlboro School District to hold a series of wellness days for students and staff members. The plan was to speak with students at the elementary schools and middle schools and to present some common mistakes children make with food choices, to address their questions and to offer faculty and staff members wellness opportunities, said Christine Jinks, a certified holistic health counselor at Advanced Wellness.

Topics discussed included best choices for breakfast; healthy lunches; shopping for and preparing foods; optimal after-school snacks; and how drinking certain beverages may not be good for children, with healthy alternatives offered.

Advanced Wellness set up an informational consult table and complimentary chair
massages for each faculty lunch period, and provided healthy snacks and an opportunity to address all healthcare concerns and questions from faculty and staff members.

“Our purpose at Advanced Wellness is to create happy and healthy lives for the members of our community. Good habits start at a young age. If we can plant good seeds and provide some simple, practical strategies for living a healthy life, hopefully we will make an impact,” said Dr. Joseph Cilea of Advanced Wellness.

School district officials said feedback resulting from the partnership with Advanced Wellness was overwhelmingly positive and provided an environment where staff members’ wellness was considered to be a top priority. Officials said the district looks forward to future partnerships with Advanced Wellness.
