Other bids were submitted by Municipal Maintenance Co., Cinnaminson, which bid $166,898, and Uni-Tech Drilling Co. Inc., Franklinville, which bid $177,260.

In other business, committee members approved a $26,050 reduction in a contract with VMG Group for roofing replacements at several municipal buildings.

According to the resolution, a $682,000 contract was awarded to VMG Group in 2017. The first change order totaled $3,690 and the second change order totaled $9,387, increasing the contract to $695,077 in 2018. The third change order will decrease the contract to $669,027.

The reduction was made on the recommendation of Spiezle Architectural Group, the township’s architect, and Director of Facilities Thomas Muh due to an increase in some contract quantities and a decrease in other contract quantities, according to resolution.

In their reports, the architect and the director of facilities informed committee members the project has been completed.
