Joslin Diabetes Center welcomes Dr. Sulay H. Shah

The Joslin Diabetes Center, affiliate at Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center-Old Bridge, recently added endocrinologist Sulay H. Shah, M.D., to its team of health care providers.

Shah is board certified in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism, and Internal Medicine. He completed his specialty training in endocrinology at Tulane University Medical Center, New Orleans, and prior to that completed his internal medicine residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn, New York. He received his medical degree from C.U. Shah Medical College in Gujarat, India. He also practiced medicine as an internist for two years prior to completing his fellowship at Atlantic Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City.

Shah is accepting new patients. To make an appointment, call 732-360-4070. The Joslin Diabetes Center is located in Suite 420, 2 Hospital Plaza, Old Bridge.

Shah joins Medical Director Reema Patel, M.D., FACE, and Dragana Jokic, M.D., who are both board certified in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism and Internal Medicine, certified diabetes educators, registered dietitians and other medical professionals in providing care. The center holds an Education Recognition Certificate from the American Diabetes Association, recognizing high-quality diabetes self-management education programs and has a demonstration kitchen where registered dietitians shares techniques to make delicious meals and snacks that are also healthy and diabetic-friendly.

Patel is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi and Urdu. Jokic is fluent in English, Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian. Shah speaks English, Gujarati and Hindi.
