Saint Peter’s University Hospital hosted a Community Education Event in honor of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month on March 19. The event included an information session with Dr. Arkady Broder, associate chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Saint Peter’s University Hospital. While in attendance, individuals also had the opportunity to explore a life-size inflatable colon to learn more about early warning signs and disease progression. Prior to the event, Broder held “Walk with a Doc” in Buccleuch Park featuring a question and answer session with community members.
