The Sayreville Shade Tree Commission is holding a creative art contest from 6-9 p.m. on May 3 at the Sayreville Senior Center, 423 Main St., Sayreville.
Students of all ages can express what a tree means and represents to them. Whether a favorite tree, a memory involving a tree, the beauty of a tree, whatever the passion can be shown through art.
Categories are Elementary (Grades K-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), High School (Grades 9-12), Three Dimensional, Adult Only (18 and over) and Group Project. Prizes will be awarded in each category at the event.
