Residents wanting to spread the word about a theater group, arts festival or performance space, or who are looking to connect with other artists, or who need a new way to share talents can reach out to and explore the local arts community thanks to Middlesex County’s new online platform, Middlesex Creates.

Middlesex Creates is a new site dedicated to promoting arts and history organizations, venues, artists, public installments, arts education, jobs and arts related businesses throughout the county. It is part of the county’s Regional Cultural Plan to improve the quality of life by investing in arts and history.

Artists can showcase their work through videos and photos, post “classifieds” for photographers, auditions, teaching artists, artisans, filmmakers and more. Arts and history organizations can showcase their organizations and create eye-catching profiles with photos and videos, as well as post “classifieds” for auditions, creative skill workshops, items for rent, barter or sale, jobs or internships. Residents and visitors can see the cultural landscape in their communities and search for groups, historic sites, venues and artists to support their neighborhood festivals and events.

To begin to tell your story, visit www.middlesexcreates.com or access the site through www.middlesexcountynj.gov.
