Forsgate Country Club hires new assistant golf pro

The Forsgate Country Club hired Justin Rohrig as its PGA First Assistant Golf Professional.

Officials at the club that is located in Monroe Township made the announcement in a press release on April 1.

Rohrig, a resident of Jamesburg, has over 15 years of experience in the golf industry. He had held the assistant pro position at the Montclair Golf Club and the Crestmont Country Club, both in West Orange, the Mendham Golf and Tennis Club in Mendham and the Apple Ridge Country Club in Mahwah.

His responsibilities have included coordinating member events, teaching lessons to club members and conducting junior golf camps and clinics.

“We are pleased to welcome Justin to our club and we know he will become a valuable member of our golf staff,” said Carolyn McKenzie Andrews, Forsgate’s Director of Golf.  “Justin will play a key role in teaching, junior golf programs, club fitting, merchandising and member relations.”
