The team won the Run for the Roses Tournament. Jaylen was named MVP while Frankie and Cameron were both named to the all-tournament team, according to information read during the April 1 North Brunswick Township council meeting.

This is Gottschalk’s fourth undefeated season in his coaching career within the last eight years, according to the proclamation.

“It was a just a total honor this year to coach. These guys were nothing but a pleasure in the gym and even more of a pleasure in the classroom,” Gottschalk said. “North Brunswick – one, it’s a great place to work, and two, this is what your parents, or our parents, are raising. … If this is what success looks like they’re going to be even more successful in the future.”
