Mary Purcell of Freehold, a sophomore majoring in English at the University of Scranton, Pa., has been inducted into Sigma Tau Delta, the national honor society in English.
Sydney Schoenholtz, the daughter of Karen and Eric Schoenholtz of Morganville, has earned dean’s list honors during the winter term 2018-19 at Drexel University, Philadelphia. Sydney is a 2018 graduate of Marlboro High School. She is a 2022 design and merchandising major at Drexel’s Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design.
Trevor Covey of Freehold is one of nearly 200 student-athletes who competed for Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa., during the winter 2018-19 sports season. Trevor, who is a graduate of Point Pleasant Beach High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration. He was a member of the men’s basketball team which went 8-17 in 2018-19.
