Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa., recognized more than 190 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen athletic teams during the winter season. Local students include: Caitlyn Keenan of Howell, a graduate of Howell High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in exercise science and is a member of the women’s ice hockey team. The Dutchmen went 6-18-1 in 2018-19; and Michael Dworzak of Howell, a graduate of Howell High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in chemistry in ACS chemistry and is a member of the men’s indoor track and field team.
Ashley Pomponio of Howell was one of two dozen Albright College, Reading, Pa., students traveling out-of-state to take part in service activities during spring break. Pomponio traveled to Colorado and built homes with Habitat for Humanity. Ashley is a graduate of Howell High School and is majoring in Psychobiology: Behavioral at Albright.
