Creative container planting topic of discussion for Garden Club of Metuchen

Beyond Thriller, Spiller and Filler—Planting Creatively in Containers is the topic of the May 6 meeting of the Garden Club of Metuchen.

Combining demonstration with some hands-on activity, presenter Peggy Koehler will offer a range of suggestions for enhancing the beauty and uses of containers for gardening.

The meeting will take place at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Fryer Hall, 17 Oak Ave., Metuchen. The meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. with light refreshments, followed by the program at 7 p.m.

Attendees are asked to bring a 10-12 inch planter and some plants of their choice for this hands-on workshop/demo.
