World War II museum exhibit in Helmetta to focus on D-Day

“Back the Attack,” a Memorial Day weekend World War II museum event, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 25-27 at the Helmetta Community Center, 1 Brookside Place, Helmetta.

There will be memorabilia including D-Day uniforms and relics, interactive exhibits, propaganda art, a 1940s-themed soda shop, a movie viewing tent, toys and children’s activities.

General admission is $5 per person. Senior citizens are $3. Free admission to veterans, military personnel and children under 12.
