Mindfulness program to be held in East Brunswick

A special Sathi Pasala program – Mindfulness in Daily Life – from 6-7:30 p.m. on May 18 at the Unitarian Society, 176 Tices Lane, East Brunswick.

The most venerable Dhammajeeva Thero from Meetrigala Nisala-Vanaya Monastery will provide guidance on developing mindfulness. Instructions are in English and geared to the learning and practice of simple ways to develop concentration, build resilience, and improve management of day-to-day activities. The program is known to improve concentration, behavior, interpersonal relationships, and academic activities of children.

The program is open to children and teachers with an interest in mindfulness development. Mindfulness has no religious or racial barriers.
