Old Bridge Library to offer meet-and-greets with authors

The Old Bridge Library will welcome author Jennifer Beilis of the inspirational book “Hear I Am!” about deaf culture and disability awareness at 7 p.m. on May 31 at the library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza, corner of Route 516 and Cottrell Road, Old Bridge.

She will explore self-help, goal setting, education, employment, mental health and disabilities.

Copies of her book will be available for purchase and signing following the session.

At 2 p.m. June 1, author and blogger Beth Lennon will discuss “Retro Roadmap with Mod Betty.” This program will explore the many vintage treasures that the Garden State has to offer, such as movie theaters, restaurants and other nostalgic roadside attractions.

Her series of Retro Roadmap Travel Guides serve as a checklist of places to visit for unique vintage architecture and experiences. Her fourth book, “Retro Roadmap Roadbook of South Jersey,” was published in February.

Copies of her books will be available for purchase and signing following the event.
