To attend the event on 161 Hodge Road in Princeton, individuals must purchase a ticket for $75 per person.

The proceeds support the Housing initiatives of Princeton (HIP) in its mission to help low-income working families and individuals in and around Princeton avoid homelessness, officials said.

According to HIP officials, the organization provides transitional housing and temporary rental assistance and equips families with tools for self-sufficiency and acts as a pathway from homelessness to hope.

Two speakers will talk to those in attendance about how HIP’s services proved to be transformational in their lives, during Food for thought at the 2019 Garden Party, officials said.

All of the proceeds generated from the event will directly benefit transitional housing and rental assistance services.
