Democracy House wins two public service awards

Volunteers in Action and the Bonner Leaders, two programs run by Democracy House at Middlesex County College, won six Jefferson Awards for Public Service on May 19. The awards, presented at the War Memorial in Trenton, were sponsored by the New Jersey Governor’s Office. The awards were for outstanding community service over the past year.
