Suspect on the lam involved in alleged domestic violence issue apprehended in East Brunswick

EAST BRUNSWICK – Police located Lee Nadeau Jr., who was allegedly involved in several domestic violence incidents late May 29 and early May 30 in and around Middlesex County, at 4:45 p.m. May 30, according to East Brunswick Police Lt. Sean Goggins.

Nadeau was allegedly involved in multiple police pursuits with several agencies while operating a stolen car that was located in East Brunswick on May 30, according to information provided by the East Brunswick Police Department and the South River Police Department.

The East Brunswick School District enacted shelter-in-place today at its schools during an active investigation, according to information sent out by the district. The South River Police Department alerted residents through Nixle that the borough had done the same with its schools.

It is unknown at this time if the two situations were related.
