Learn about The Dreyfus Affair, one of the top 10 trials in history, during a meeting of Brandeis University Middlesex Chapter at 1 p.m. on June 13 at the East Brunswick Library, Civic Center Drive off Ryders Lane, East Brunswick.
Susan Addleston will speak about how the trial of an obscure French artillery captain changed the course of history. It shook a major European nation to its foundation, inspired two extraordinary literary milestones, sundered families and friendships, and resulted in the creation of the state of Israel.
The event is free, but bring a can of dog or cat food for Addleston’s animal shelter.
For more information about Brandeis membership, call Thelma at 732-257-4833.
