Raritan Bay Medical Center announces June programs

The Institute of Weight Loss at Hackensack Meridian Health Raritan Bay Medical Center-Old Bridge will hold an“Is Weight Loss Surgery Right for Me?”seminar from 7-8 p.m. on June 10 and from 7:30-8:30 p.m. on June 26 in Suite 404, Medical Arts Building, 3 Hospital Plaza, Old Bridge. The lecture will focus on weight loss surgery including discussion on Roux-En-Y Gastric Bypass, Adjustable Gastric Banding and Gastric Sleeve and concerns surrounding weight loss surgery as well as its successes. Family and friends are welcome. Registration is required by calling 1-855-TIME-4-ME (1-855-846-3463).

 The Human Motion Institute will hold a free Total Joint Replacement Education session from 8-9 a.m. on June 11, 18, 25 in the Patient Education Center, 1st Floor, Medical and Surgical Pavilion, 2 Hospital Plaza, Old Bridge. The class will educate attendees on what to expect, before, during and after surgery. Registration is required by calling 1-800-560-9990.

The Institute of Weight Loss will hold a Bariatric Weight Loss Support Group meeting from 6-7 p.m. on June 26 in Auxiliary Hall B, 3 Hospital Plaza, Old Bridge, for individuals who have had surgery, are contemplating weight loss surgery or who are trying to maintain a healthy weight.
