South River cleanup was a success

On April 27, the South River Environmental and Shade Tree Commission held a Community Cleanup event in honor of Earth Day. Over 20 bags of garbage were collected and disposed of properly helping to keep our town clean. This wouldn’t have been possible without our sponsors and volunteers: Wawa donated refreshments, Clean Communities donated all the supplies, Victory Junk Removal LLC, and our neighbors from Darrow street. A shout of appreciation to everyone who volunteered and contributed to this event
