North Brunswick Library expands homebound delivery service

The North Brunswick Library is expanding its homebound delivery service for people who are unable to visit the library due to a temporary or permanent disability.

Patrons must first contact the library and fill out a homebound application form, which can be dropped off at their residence or can be picked up by a caretaker or family member. Once a patron is determined as requiring homebound delivery service, a library employee will create a library card, assess what types of books and media the person is specifically interested in, and arrange a schedule where materials are dropped off and picked up once a month.

There is no cost for this service and there are no overdue charges.

Any library materials, including books, DVDs, television series, music CDs and audiobooks, may be borrowed.
