While on side of the border, in New Jersey, USA casinos are going all out to make the most of the revenue opportunities offered by sports betting, on the other side, in Canada, a lot of top online casinos for Canadian players such as Mr Green, Betway and more are doubling up as both online casinos and online bookmakers to do the same in the online space.,

About the opening

Coming back to New Jersey, the Borgata launched a $ 12 million project on Saturday, June 29, which includes a new bookmaking service and an entertainment project. The opening of this new project named ‘The Moneyline Bar & Book’ comes only one week after a new $ 8.4 million bookmaking service was launched by Bally’s. No specific information has been made available about the scheduled grand opening of the latter as yet.,

 ,

Both projects can be considered as major upgrades and expansions of small size sports betting services launched last summer by these establishments, after New Jersey won a Supreme Court case, making way for all 50 states of the US to be able to offer sports betting services.,

Here are some more details on how legalized sports betting in New Jersey is going to positively impact various other aspects of the state and who are the biggest winners of the Supreme Court verdict last year.,

Aggressive approach keeping the community angle in mind

Going by the opinion of analysts and industry officials, it is pretty clear that the United States sports betting industry of the future is going to be online. Some prominent technology and gambling executives made a prediction at the casino conference held in the Atlantic City last month that close to 90% of all US sports betting activity will happen over the Internet or mobile phones, within the next 5 years, or maximum 10.,

 ,

However, this prediction hasn’t stopped the race tracks and casino establishments to invest millions of dollars on land-based sportsbooks, banking on people’s desire to enjoy a communal experience while wagering money on their favourite sports events.,

 ,

Talking to the press in this regard, Caesars Entertainment’s president, Kevin Ortzman expressed that they wanted to go big, to ensure that people had nothing short of an amazing experience. Although he expects everyone to use mobile too, but being able to visually experience one’s favourite games in an atmosphere like the one offered by them is truly amazing.,

Details of the facilities

The sportsbook service at Bally’s comprises of 5 ‘fan cave’ type of private rooms, each one having a wall of video screens, which can be split into 4 different games. The facility will also be offering a beer pong bar, and a first-of-its-kind self-serve beer bar, in the entire Atlantic City.,

 ,

Borgata on the other hand has blended its new sportsbook operations with an adjacent lounge and cocktail bar, positioning it as a high-end gambling destination called Level One. They are planning to host all kinds of events during the lull periods of slow sports. Borgata’s President, Marcus Glover shared their slogan for the place – ‘Eat, Drink, Bet, Watch!’,
