Assemblyman Joseph Danielsen (D-Middlesex, Somerset) will be the host to his second back-to-school drive for the students of the 17th Legislative District. The district includes Franklin, New Brunswick, North Brunswick, Piscataway and Milltown.
Backpacks, No. 2 pencils, lined notebooks, rulers, scissors, pens, markers, colored pencils, crayons, glue sticks and gift cards are requested.
Donations can be dropped off through Sept. 5 at the District 17 Legislative Office, 334 Elizabeth Ave., Somerset; the North Brunswick Library, 880 Hermann Road, North Brunswick; the Franklin Township Library, 485 Demott Lane, Franklin; the JFK Library, 500 Hoes Lane, Piscataway; and the Westergard Library, 20 Murray Ave., Piscataway.
