Six officers, four investigators join Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office

Six Sheriff’s Officers and four Sheriff’s Investigators were sworn in to their respective positions on July 18.

While these 10 new officers come from a variety of backgrounds, they have several things in common: all are graduates of Mercer County Police Academy, and all went through 21 weeks of training from March 4 to July 18, according to information provided by Middlesex County Sheriff Mildred S. Scott.

 

Among the new recruits, two have their associate and four have their bachelor degrees. Three of these new members are women. All 10 hail from Middlesex County: Christopher Cimilluca (Colonia), Sherman Harris Jr. (Edison), Lauren Gregory (Helmetta), Kyle O’Connor (Lawrence Harbor), Raymond Smith (North Brunswick), Joseph Diaz and Desiree Reid (Old Bridge), Janaysia James (Perth Amboy), Joe Fina (Piscataway), and Brian Presti (Woodbridge).
