South Brunswick Library gala to feature Caribbean vibe

The South Brunswick Public Library Foundation will hold its 2019 Author Dinner Gala at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at the library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

This year’s event will have a Caribbean vibe to welcome Trinidad native Tracey Baptiste.

In September, “The New York Times” best-selling author will present “The Jumbie God’s Revenge,” the third in her popular middle grade book series about Jumbies. She is also the author of “The New York Times” best-selling middle grade book “Minecraft: The Crash” and numerous non-fiction books.

The after-hours gala will begin with appetizers, followed by a buffet dinner and dessert.

Ticket purchase will include her “The Jumbie God’s Revenge,” a book-signing, all food and beverages, and an author talk by Tracey. Tickets are $65 each and can be purchased at the Library Borrower Services Desk or online.
